英訳 出雲神話

His wedded wife, Suseri-bime, became fiercely jealous.  He began to loathe her and decide to leave Izumo and go on a trip to Yamato.  He dressed himself and putting one of his hands on the saddle and one of his feet in the stirrup, he sang.

(Song . . .)

Then, his wife came towards him with a cup full of sake in her hand and presented it to him, and sang in reply.

(Song . . .)

Thus she ended the song.  After that they both drank sake from the cup and put their arms around each other’s neck.  They reconciled, and even now they are getting along very well.  These songs are called Kamu-gatari.
