The deities that came next were Kuni-toko-tachi-no-kami and Toyo-kumo-no-no-kami.  These two deities were also single, and disappeared.

Next came U-hidi-ni-no-kami, and then, his spouse, Imo-su-hidi-ni-no-kami.  Next came Tsuno-guhi-no-kami.  Next came his spouse, Imo-iku-guhi-no-kami.  Next came Oho-to-no-di-no-kami.  Next came his spouse, Imo-oho-to-no-be-no-kami.  Next came Omo-daru-no-kami.  Next came his spouse, Imo-aya-kashiko-ne-no-kami.  Next came Izanaki-no-kami.  Next came his spouse, Imo-izanami-no-kami.

Those deities from Kuni-toko-tachi-no-kami to Izanami-no-kami are regarded as the Seven Generations of Deities.  The first two deities are each counted as one generation.  The ten deities that follow those two deities are pairs and each pair makes one generation.
